A loss would put the Lightning 10 points behind Carolina in the Southeast Division. ... If Lightning center Vinny Prospal registers a point, he will tie Marty St. Louis and Brian Bradley for the team record of points in consecutive games at 13. ... The Lightning has no injuries, while Carolina is without Niclas Wallin (wrist) and, possibly, Rod Brind'Amour (groin) and Glen Wesley (groin). ... The Hurricanes are 8-1 at home.
