Ashley Levitz, a senior at Northeast High School in the Academy of Finance, received the 2005 Exemplary Academy Student Award by the National Career Academy Coalition.

Ashley was nominated by her teacher, Debbie Fischer, for hard work and dedication to her academic studies and professional responsibilities and as a role model for other students.

Ashley has shadowed at Equifax, Raymond James Financial, Lighthouse Credit Foundation and Achieva Credit Union, to gain on-the-job experience in the finance field.

Ashley was accepted in her junior year as a paid intern with Achieva as a teller. This year, her internship was extended and she was promoted to member service adviser.

For the past two years, she has been the branch manager of Achieva's Viking Branch Credit Union on the Northeast campus.
