Old Northeast homes open on Dec. 11

ST. PETERSBURG - The Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association will sponsor a candlelight tour of homes from 3 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11.
Eight residences that showcase diverse architectural and decorating styles will be open to the public. A complimentary trolley service will loop the neighborhood with stops close to the houses and three hospitality sites, Vinoy House Bed and Breakfast, 532 Beach Drive NE; Westminster Palms, 830 North Shore Drive NE; and Westminster Presbyterian Church, 126 11th Ave. NE, where refreshments and restrooms will be available.
Tickets are $15 when purchased by mail or at selected outlets before the tour; $20 the day of the tour at the church and the retirement center. Tickets are available at Dolin's Garden Center, 801 62nd Ave. N; Green & Yellow Basket, 205 First St. NE; GMAC Real Estate, 2331 Fourth St. N; Gulf Coast Garden Center, 4355 Haines Road; Simply Splendid, 1301 Fourth St. N; Something Different, 3252 Tyrone Blvd., and 9425 Ulmerton Road, Largo; and Uncorked, 2706 Fourth St. N.
Proceeds will benefit the Historic Old Northeast Lighting Project and the YWCA Family Village Shelter.
