PHILADELPHIA - Dalila Eshe scored 20 points to lead Florida to a 58-55 victory over No. 18 Temple on Saturday.
Brittany Davis scored 11 points and Sha Brooks added 10 for the Gators (5-1), who handed the Owls (6-1) their first loss.
Temple, which was off to its best start since 1981-82, had its 14-game home winning streak snapped. Kamesha Hairston led the Owls with a season-high 24 points.
Temple cut Florida's lead to 55-52, but a costly technical foul on Lady Comfort helped Florida make it 57-52 with 1:10 left. Temple closed to 58-55 with 7.9 seconds left, but Jennifer Owens missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.
NO.4 OHIO STATE 66, BOSTON COLLEGE 61 (OT): Marscilla Packer scored 18 points, including a key 3-pointer in overtime, to lift visiting Ohio State past Boston College.
Brandie Hoskins had 13 points for the Buckeyes. Kathrin Ress led the Eagles with 16 points.
NO.6 RUTGERS 76, SAN JOSE STATE 64: Cappie Pondexter scored a season-high 26 points to lead Rutgers over San Jose State in the Hawkeye Challenge in Iowa City, Iowa.
Rutgers advances to the championship game today against Iowa, the tournament host.
NO.10 MINNESOTA 78, NEBRASKA 70: Jamie Broback scored a season-high 22 points to lead host Minnesota past Nebraska.
Liz Podominick added 15 points to help Minnesota rebound from a 62-44 loss at New Mexico on Wednesday night.
NO.14 DePAUL 65, NO.22 PURDUE 54: Khara Smith scored 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting and had 11 rebounds and five steals for host DePaul.
Allie Quigley added 15 points for DePaul. Katie Gearlds led Purdue with 14 points but committed seven of the Boilermakers' 21 turnovers.
NO.15 ARIZONA STATE 78, WESTERN KENTUCKY 64: Amy Denson scored 18 points to lead host Arizona State over Western Kentucky in the championship game of the Wells Fargo Holiday Classic.
Kristen Kovesdy added 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Sun Devils.
Tiffany Porter-Talbert led Western Kentucky with 15 points.
NO.20 OKLAHOMA 107, ORAL ROBERTS 76: Erin Higgins scored 12 of her 16 points in the second half to help Oklahoma pull away against Oral Roberts at the Bertha Teague Classic in Stillwater, Okla.
Rachel Balzer scored 20 to lead Oral Roberts, which made the NCAA tournament last season as the Mid-Continent Conference champion.
NO.23 UCLA 76, CLEMSON 63: Noelle Quinn scored 19 points and Lisa Willis added 17 to lead UCLA over host Clemson.
The Bruins used a 13-2 run midway through the second half to pull away from the Lady Tigers, who had won two in a row.
NO.25 UTAH 63, LOYOLA MARYMOUNT 47: Kim Smith had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead host Utah over Loyola Marymount.
Shona Thorburn added 14 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Utes.
