PANAMA CITY, Fla. - A Panama City woman was accused of forcing her 10-year-old son to help her sell cocaine and marijuana.

Susan Keating, 47, was charged with drug possession and child neglect after investigators with the Bay County Sheriff's Office searched her home Friday evening and found cocaine, marijuana and other controlled substances, according to police reports.

After her arrest, investigators spoke with her 10-year-old son, who said Keating made him carry bags of "white stuff" in his pockets, according to reports.

The boy said he knew what he was doing was against the law but his mother told him to do it anyway, investigators said.

Keating often drove around Panama City with the boy to sell drugs, investigators said. The boy told investigators he had been riding around with his mother for about two to three weeks, police said.

Keating declined comment. Her son was turned over to the Department of Children and Families.
