School put on lockdown after student finds bullet

By Times Staff Writer
Published December 8, 2005

HUDSON - Hudson High School went into "full lockdown" for a few hours Wednesday after a student found a small-caliber bullet in a boys bathroom and turned it in to a teacher about 8:15 a.m.

The school was searched for more weapons or other ammunition but none was found, the Pasco Sheriff's Office reported, and the lockdown was lifted about 10:45 a.m. During a full lockdown, students are not allowed to move from classroom to classroom, teaching is generally suspended and people may not come and go from campus. Anyone with information on where the bullet came from is asked to call 1-877-723-2728.
