Work on water line to close Sunset Point Road till Dec. 16

By Times Staff Writer
Published December 9, 2005

CLEARWATER - Sunset Point Road will be closed between Douglas Avenue and Alt. U.S. 19 through Dec. 16 while workers install a new water line.

The existing line is on the bottom of Stevenson's Creek and would be in the way of the proposed Stevenson's Creek dredging project if left in place. The new line will be installed below the proposed dredging. Through traffic will be detoured around the construction. Local traffic will be allowed access. For information, call city construction manager Perry Lopez at (727) 462-6126.
