Man accused of molesting girl he met on Internet

HUDSON - A 21-year-old man was arrested Wednesday, accused of molesting a 13-year-old girl after meeting her on the Internet.

Brinson Craig Seay of 8026 Hunters Whip Row faces a charge of lewd or lascivious molestation. He was being held in the county jail Thursday on $50,000 bail.

After meeting the New Port Richey girl on the Internet, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report, Seay twice in November took her to his home, where they fondled each other. The girl's father discovered e-mails between the two, sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said. Then a detective recorded a phone call between the pair, during which Seay acknowledged the sexual contact, a sheriff's report says.
