Authorities identify couple killed in apartment blaze

TAMPA - Authorities on Monday identified the man and woman who died Saturday inside a north Tampa apartment after a fire that started on the stove.
Sally Gennardi, 47; and Richard Reed, 45, were found dead on the floor of unit 119 in Palm Lakes Apartments, after the fire apparently filled the apartment with smoke and burned itself out.
Sheriff's officials had withheld their identities because the victims' next of kin is hospitalized and was too ill to communicate until Monday.
