Look up to the water tower, not down on it

Re: Seminole water tower mural is lovely, letter, Dec. 7.
The water tower is a beautiful centerpiece for Seminole. About a year ago I called the city manager and suggested that they put floodlights on the tower so that it could be used as a point of reference for travelers, even at night. To my knowledge there is no other town in Florida that has such a lovely mural on its water tower or elsewhere.
Make this something special, and put Seminole on the map. I am sure that I am not the only one who says to visitors, "Turn south at the water tower that has the birds on it."
