Jefferson's Tertavian Ingram, arguably the county's best receiver this past season, has committed to Purdue.
Ingram, a three-year starter, chose the Boilermakers over South Florida, Rutgers, West Virginia, Kansas, N.C. State and Florida Atlantic.
"It had a lot to do with the opportunity to play in the Big Ten. Plus, it's one of the top schools in the nation and that's really important because after football I will need something to fall back on," he said.
Ingram has a 3.9 GPA.
He had 66 catches for 1,105 yards with 13 touchdowns as a senior. He caught 40 passes as a junior in helping to lead the Dragons to the Class 3A final.
