Cartagena City Homes

By MICHAEL CANNING
Published December 23, 2005

LOCATION: 4409 W Gray St., just west of Manhattan Avenue

DEVELOPER: Mize and Sefair Development

DESCRIPTION: Two Mediterranean revival buildings containing a total of five three-story townhomes. Units will range from 1,987 to 2,008 square feet. All floor plans will have three bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. Mediterranean revival architecture.

PRICE: $390,000s to $420,000s

ARCHITECT: Metro Architects Inc. of Clearwater

AMENITIES: Wood floors; granite counter tops in kitchens and bathrooms; patios; crown molding; two-car garage.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: Dan Sefair of Mize and Sefair said he chose the location because of "its proximity to Interstate (275). But it's an area where a lot of development is going on in terms of multifamily residential units. Young couples, maybe with a young child, could live there comfortably." Sefair named the project Cartagena after the city in his native country, Colombia.

TIMELINE: Demolition of an old house on the lot should begin within a week. Construction is scheduled to start at the end of January and take 10 months.

MOVE-IN DATE: December 2006
