WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Sabres won in a shootout at the Times Forum on Oct.13. Brad Richards, who had a goal in that game, has four goals and 11 assists in 17 games against the Sabres. ... This is the ninth time this season the Lightning has played on consecutive nights. It is 4-2-2 on the second night of such occasions. ... No team is hotter than the Sabres. Even after Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Panthers that ended a seven-game win streak, the Sabres are 15-2-1 in the past 18. The Sabres had won nine consecutive road games, one shy of the league record they set in 1983-84 and matched by the Blues in 2000 and Devils in 2001.
