Two in critical condition after crash

TAMPA - Two young adults were in critical condition Friday after the car they were traveling in flipped four times, authorities said.

Jennifer O'Brien , 21, was driving north on 56th Street shortly before 11 a.m. when she missed her turn on Harney Road, a sheriff's spokeswoman said. O'Brien apparently drove off the east side of the road and then overcorrected, causing the 1995 Nissan Pathfinder to roll four times.

O'Brien and Michael Duckworth, 22, were thrown from the SUV. They were taken to Tampa General Hospital, Duckworth by helicopter and O'Brien by ambulance. Both victims live at 3411 N 56th St.

Officials are investigating.
