NOTABLE: Florida can set the school record for wins before New Year's Day and is looking for its 14th straight home win. The Gators are shooting 52.9 percent from the field, second in the nation. Florida also is hitting 40.9 percent from 3-point range. Every Gator starter averages double figures and UF has scored 80 or more points in five of its past six games. Before its win over Hawaii Pacific in its last outing, FAMU had lost six of seven. The Rattlers have played a tough nonconference schedule, including Indiana, Georgia, Xavier, Northern Iowa and Dayton. Ball-handling will be key; both teams are forcing 18.4 turnovers per game.
