HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS: Tickets are now on sale for Legends, a comedy by James Kirkwood, directed by Fran Barg. Art Center Theatre, 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Citrus Hills, from Jan. 20 through Feb. 5. Legends is about two rival Hollywood megastars of the past who are manipulated into working together by a hyperactive, power-hungry producer. Box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $15 .
ART EXHIBIT: See the works of Douglas Prescott Murray at the Citrus County Art League Cultural Center East Wall Gallery through Feb. 2. Murray, a native of Massachusetts, spent four decades as a successful artist working in design, layout and illustration for the corporate world. After retiring, Douglas and his wife, Mary, began spending their winters in Citrus County, where he continues his own artwork. His works are large representational renderings in watercolor, pen and ink, oil, pastel, pencil and air brush. The East Wall Gallery is at 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Citrus Hills, Hernando. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.
CALLING ALL CARVERS: The Nature Coast Carving Club meets at noon Mondays at the Crystal River Moose Club and at 1 p.m. Tuesdays at the East Citrus Community Center on State Road 44 E, Inverness. The club also holds a business meeting at 10 a.m. the first Friday of each month at the Lakes Region Library, Druid Road, Inverness. The meeting also features a demonstration.

MANATEE FESTIVAL will be Jan. 14 and 15 along Citrus Avenue in downtown Crystal River. The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, the city of Crystal River and the Rotary Club of Crystal River jointly sponsor the event. Admission is $2 per adult. A Fine Arts Show sponsored by the St. Petersburg Times will host exhibitors from around the United States, featuring items from watercolors to photography, as well as sculptures, stained glass and unique handmade jewelry. Also, more than 150 crafters will showcase their creations, which range from woodwork to knitted pieces. Boat trips out to Kings Bay for a close-up look at manatees will be available first-come, first-served for a small charge. Both days of the event will feature live entertainment and more than 25 food vendors.
PIANO MUSIC: Piano4, the nation's only touring piano quartet, will perform as part of the Central Florida Community College Foundation's Performing Art Series. There will be two performances. Tickets are still available for the 3 p.m. Feb. 12 performance at the Curtis Peterson Auditorium at Lecanto High School, 3810 W Educational Path. Tickets are $17 for reserved seating and $15 for unreserved. A few tickets are still available for the 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 performance at the CFCC Ocala Fine Arts Auditorium, 3001 SW College Road. Tickets are $18 for reserved seating.
COMEDY: Entertainment and dining are part of the dinner theater production Self Help at the Central Florida Community College Foundation Jan. 25 through Feb. 5. Matinee performances begin with dinner at 12:30 p.m. and show at 2 p.m. Evening performances begin with dinner at 6 p.m. and show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the CFCC Foundation, in the Enterprise Center at 3001 SW College Road. Tickets are $45 each or $360 for a table of eight. The first $10,000 raised will create a Dental Assisting Endowed Scholarship.
"NUNSENSE': The comedy about a group of nuns who accidentally serve some poison vichyssoise, opens Jan. 26 and runs through Feb. 19 at Ocala Civic Theatre, 4337 E Silver Springs Blvd. in the Appleton Cultural Center. Curtain times are 8:15 p.m. for evening performances and 2:15 p.m. for matinees. Tickets are $19 for adults and $9 for full-time students. Box office is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Saturdays on which there are performances. Call (352) 236-2274.
