WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "It's very Key West style with the tin roof, the Bahama-style shutters," said Jessica Groom of Gaspar Properties. "We wanted to do something a little bit different, yet appealing. We have a little bit more freedom of design (in Port Tampa), so we went with it."

TIMELINE: An old house on the site was demolished in early August. Construction should begin in early January and take nine months.
