Class explores homeowner group issues

SEMINOLE - A free course on Florida cooperatives will be from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 18 at Seminole Gardens Association Auditorium, 8324 112th St. N.

The class covers self-management, bidding, maintenance, accounting, legal services and board meetings.

The class is offered by the Suncoast chapter of the Community Associations Institute, a nonprofit group that provides education and training to owners, residents and service providers of condos, co-ops and homeowner associations.
