Quick Response Training Grants
| Grants to new and expanding businesses to reimburse them for the costs of "customized'' worker training. Workforce Florida, a group created in 2000 to oversee administration of the state's workforce policy, also manages a federally funded training program called Incumbent Worker Training. Grant amounts are for 2003-2004 plus several older grants where recepients' identities were known. For 2004-2005, the Legislature appropriated $5-million for QRT. |
