NEW PORT RICHEY - A 3-year-old boy drowned Sunday after falling into his grandparents' pool in the Hidden Lake Estates neighborhood, officials said. Bishop Deighton was pronounced dead about 5 p.m. at North Bay Hospital. He was playing with a pet around the screened-in pool behind the house at 8905 Fairchild Court, Pasco sheriff's Lt. Gary Kling said. His grandparents, Michael and Patricia Deighton, were watching him. "Somehow the child ended up in the pool," Kling said. Paramedics arrived shortly after 2 p.m. and performed CPR, then took him to North Bay Hospital. He died about three hours later.
