A missing 100-year-old Tampa man has been located at a health care facility in Orlando, police said. Emilio Xiques has been at Parks Health Care Rehabilitation Center in Orlando since late November when his daughter said he went missing from Tampa.
Gladys Xiques Perez got worried about her father after he failed for two months to pick up his Social Security check. She called Tampa police in December to say she didn't know where he was.
An administrator who works at the Orlando health care facility but lives in Polk County, saw news reports this morning about Xiques and called police to tell them he was safe at her facility.
