Navy Seaman Peter S. Hamilton, son of Janet S. and James B. Hamilton and grandson of Bud and Priscilla Hamilton and Carolyn Spence, all of St. Petersburg, has completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. He is a 2005 graduate of St. Petersburg High School.

The following recruits have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas:

Air Force Airman 1st Class Roger K. Chanthabouasith, son of Nom and Bill Chanthabouasith of St. Petersburg and a 2005 graduate of Boca Ciega High School.

Air Force Airman Jacob K. Draughon, son of Walter Draughon of St. Petersburg and a 2002 graduate of St. Petersburg High School.

Air Force Airman Shane A. Perry, son of John and Cristina Perry of Seminole and a 2005 graduate of Osceola High School.

Air Force Airman Jessica N. Schwing, daughter of Greg and Nicole Schwing of St. Petersburg and a 2005 graduate of Gibbs High School.

The following recruits have completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.:

Navy Seaman Apprentice Rollie Demps Jr., son of Robin L. Green of St. Petersburg and a 2005 graduate of Gibbs High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Phelipe C. Maxwell, son of Charles Maxwell of St. Petersburg.

Navy Seaman Recruit Robin R. Tyre, son of Annette Carey and stepson of Michael J. Carey of St. Petersburg and a 2005 graduate of Northeast High School.
