WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Lightning has won two in a row, its longest win streak since winning back-to-back games on Dec. 8-10. ... The guess is Sean Burke, coming off a 35-save performance in a 2-1 victory against the Islanders on Monday, will start in goal. He is 13-20-5 lifetime against Buffalo. Burke's 20 losses against the Sabres are his most against any team. ... Forwards Fredrik Modin (lower-body injury), Rob DiMaio (back) and Ryan Craig (fractured toe) are questionable. ... The Lightning has picked up points in its past four games in Buffalo with two victories, a tie and an overtime loss. ... Until losing to visiting Florida on Sunday, the Sabres had won six in a row at home and were 10-1-1 in their previous 12. Their power play is ranked third in the NHL and second at home. ... Buffalo beat the Lightning 4-3 in a shootout on Oct. 13 and 4-1 on Dec. 23, both at the St. Pete Times Forum.
