Panthers at Giants
1 p.m., Ch. 13
THE SCOOP: The Panthers clawed their way into the playoffs but lack the dominating running game necessary to make a run. The Giants win despite the mistakes of second-year quarterback Eli Manning because no one can stop running back Tiki Barber. If the Giants defense can take away receiver Steve Smith - not an easy task - Manning will win his first playoff start.
JOANNE KORTH'S PICK: Giants 24, Panthers 17
Steelers at Bengals
4:30 p.m., Ch. 10
THE SCOOP: The Bengals were the Cinderella team of the season, but the slipper doesn't fit today. Cincinnati won the AFC North, but was 3-4 against teams that finished with winning records. Its soft schedule did not prepare it for the playoffs. Pittsburgh won its final four games to earn the AFC's final wild card and won't take kindly to Chad Johnson's claim Cincy now rules the division.
KORTH'S PICK: Steelers 23, Bengals 19
