Hot Tickets: Revisiting the lads of 'Plaid'

By JOHN FLEMING
Published January 12, 2006

Some people can't get enough of Three Coins in the Fountain, Magic Moments and other songs drenched in four-part harmonies.

Forever Plaid, the revue about a guy group whose members died in a school bus crash and come back to Earth for one last concert, returns to Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's Jaeb Theater. Stuart Ross' nostalgic show has spawned productions all over the country since its 1989 premiere. One of the most successful played the Jaeb for eight months in 1993-94 and had several revivals, the last time in 2001. The current staging, directed by Steven Flaa and starring, from left, Eric Davis, Tom Andrew, Rob Cygan and Jonathan Harrison, opens tonight and runs through Feb. 5. $29.50. 813 229-7827 or toll-free 1-800-955-1045; www.tbpac.org
