GM lacked honesty inAndreychuk move
Letters to the Editor

I see the reasoning in putting Dave Andreychuk on waivers, but at least Jay Feaster could have been up front with the guy before shopping him. At the Buffalo game, Andreychuk was caught unaware, with the media questioning him on Feaster's fax about him being traded. The least Feaster could have done was to be honest. He's certainly earned the respect. Andreychuk has nothing to be ashamed of, but the GM of the Lightning sure does. Honesty is always the best for all concerned.

Change, break was end for captain
Dave Andreychuk played a great role in winning the Stanley Cup, but I think the year off and changes in the speed in the NHL spelled his doom.

Bucs brass botched ticket handling
The will-call situation at the Bucs-Redskins game was a disaster. We waited from 3-5:30 p.m. to get our tickets. I'm sure the Glazers were oblivious to the nightmare of what was going on with hundreds of Bucs fans at the time. And the response from the Bucs ticket office was, "We're sorry," and that's all. They could at least have offered tickets for a game next season or something. Truly sad and unforgiving on their part.
