Neighbor accused of luring 8-year-old

LUTZ - A 41-year-old pool cleaner was arrested Wednesday, charged with luring an 8-year-old girl to sit on his lap and play the "horsey dance" on several occasions.

Leo Frank Terminello of 5302 Clouds Peak Drive in Lutz faces one count of lewd and lascivious conduct and one count of luring or enticing a child.

Terminello is accused of enticing the young neighbor girl into his home by telling her that he wanted to talk with her. Once inside, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said, Terminello would sit on the couch and the child would sit on his lap.

Investigators say that on one occasion, Terminello offered the child money to play the game.

On the jail log, Terminello described himself as a self-employed pool cleaner. Terminello was being held Wednesday evening at Orient Road Jail with bail set at $9,500.

Terminello has an arrest history stretching back to 1991, according to Florida Department of Law Enforcement, including convictions for burglary, exposure of sexual organs, fraudulent use of credit cards and grand theft.
