THE CITRUS COMMUNITY CONCERT CHOIR rehearses at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Crystal River for its spring concert. Auditions for new voices will begin at 6:30 p.m. The program for the spring concert will be The Seven Last Words of Christ by Theodore BuBois and Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi.

A WATERCOLOR EXHIBIT by students of Pat Sistrand's watercolor class is at the Citrus Springs Memorial Library. Exhibiting artists include Ina Murdock, Sherry Astleford, Joan Mahaffey and Ruth Todd. Citrus Springs Memorial Library is at 1826 W Country Club Blvd. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

CITRUS SPRINGS CHORUS rehearses at 2:30 p.m. Thursdays in the Citrus Springs Community Center. Schedule includes an April 3 concert and visits to area nursing facilities and campgrounds. New members are welcome on all parts throughout January. The group is open to anyone and there is no audition. Director Nancy Gordon has over 30 years' experience in music education and church music and is also co-director of the Citrus Concert Band. ART EXHIBIT: Douglas Prescott Murray's work will be on display at the Citrus County Art League Cultural Center East Wall Gallery through Feb. 2. Murray, a native of Massachusetts, spent four decades as a successful artist, working in design, layout and illustration, for the corporate world. After retiring, Douglas and his wife, Mary, began spending their winters in Citrus County, where he continues his own artwork. His works are large representational renderings in watercolor, pen and ink, oil, pastel, pencil and airbrush. The East Wall Gallery is at 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Citrus Hills (Hernando). Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.


PIANO MUSIC: Piano4, the nation's only touring piano quartet, will perform as part of the Central Florida Community College Foundation's Performing Art Series. There will be two performances. Tickets are still available for the 3 p.m. Feb. 12. performance at the Curtis Peterson Auditorium at Lecanto High School, 3810 W Educational Path. Tickets are $17 for reserved seating and $15 for unreserved. A few tickets are still available for the 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13, 7:30 p.m. performance at the CFCC Ocala Fine Arts Auditorium, 3001 SW College Road. Tickets are $18 for reserved seating.

THE CENTRAL FLORIDA SYMPHONY orchestra will present its Young Artist Competition Honors Recital at 3 p.m. Jan. 2 in the Central Florida Community College Fine Arts Auditorium, Ocala campus. The recital is part of the 15th annual Young Artist Competition of the Central Florida Symphony Orchestra. Season ticket holders will be admitted to the recital at no charge with advance reservations. Tickets are available at the door for $5 for the public. Call (352) 351-1606.


"NUNSENSE,' the comedy about a group of nuns who accidentally serve some poison vichyssoise, runs through Feb. 19 at Ocala Civic Theatre, 4337 E Silver Springs Blvd. in the Appleton Cultural Center. Curtain times are 8:15 p.m. for evening performances and 2:15 p.m. for matinees. Tickets are $19 for adults and $9 for full-time students. Box office is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Saturdays on which there are performances. Call (352) 236-2274.

THE 26TH ANNUAL BROOKSVILLE RAID FESTIVAL will be Saturday and Sunday at the Sand Hill Scout Reservation off State Road 50, Spring Hill. Events include Civil War re-enactments each day, plus a Victorian-era tea party, a gala ball, a Civil War era baseball game, vendors and demonstrations. Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for ages 6-12. Children ages 11 and younger and Boy Scouts in uniform are admitted free. Call (352) 799-0129 for information.
