Zephyrhills man accused of trying to rape woman

A 69-year-old Zephyrhills man was arrested Friday on charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment.
A Pasco sheriff's report says David Bennett Dungan cornered a woman in a bathroom and put his arms around her so she could not leave. The report says he struggled with her, trying to rape her. The woman, whose age and identity was not given, suffered bruises and a scratch.
Sheriff's officials did not release the location of the incident. Dungan was being held on $35,000 bail in the county jail Saturday.
