Laura Baker has been named director of public relations and community affairs at the Sembler Co., St. Petersburg. Baker was a news anchor at both WCHS/ABC and WVAH/Fox in Charleston, W.Va.

Lena Gainer has been named director of sales for Westshore Yacht Club, Tampa, at WCI Communities, Tampa. Gainer was sales manager and managing broker for the Plaza Harbour Island, Tampa.

Diana Hilton has been named marketing coordinator at MiraBay, Apollo Beach. Hilton was community representative at Newland Communities Covington Park, Apollo Beach.

Rick Joudrey has been named vice president of land development of the North Florida region at Kimball Hill Homes, Tampa. Joudrey was a project engineer at Davidson Engineering, Naples.

Sara Sarikaya has been named an account executive for the Abra Product Line at IDEAL Consulting, Tampa. Sarikaya was a sales representative at ADP, New York.

Renee Williams has been elected to the board of directors of the Alpha House of Tampa Inc. Williams is president of the Williams Consulting Group, Tampa.

David Gillett has been promoted to transportation group leader at MACTEC Engineering and Consulting Inc., Tampa. Gillett was a senior project engineer.

V. Raymond Ferrara has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Financial Planning Association of Tampa Bay. The award recognizes exemplary leadership and dedication in advancing the ideals and principals of the financial planning profession. Ferrara is president and chief executive of ProVise Management Group LLC, Clearwater.

James A. Fulp has been named executive vice president, director of sales, in the independent contractor division at Raymond James Financial Services Inc., St. Petersburg. In addition to his new responsibilities, Fulp will continue to serve as president of the Financial Institutions Division of Raymond James Financial Services and senior vice president of Raymond James & Associates Inc., managing the correspondent services division.

Dr. Richard A. Miller has been inducted as president of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. Miller is founding member of Bay Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery PA, Port Richey.

Michael A. Reali has been promoted to sales manager at CHOICE Medical Management Services LLC, Tampa. Reali was an account executive.

Joyce Turner has been named senior sales manager at Embassy Suites Hotel Tampa-Downtown Convention Center. Turner was director of sales at Holiday Inn, Tampa.

H. Ray Allen II has been named a shareholder in the government law and consulting practice group and the real estate and mortgage financing practice group at the law firm of Carlton Fields, Tampa. Allen was a managing attorney of the land use section for the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office, Tampa.

Christina Breiner has been named a partner at the law firm of Ruden McClosky, St. Petersburg. Breiner is a member of the firm's real estate practice group, concentrating in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending and commercial leasing.

William "Bill" Hamilton has been selected to serve on the Panel of Neutrals by the International Trademark Association. Hamilton is an intellectual property partner and concentrates in the areas of complex litigation of intellectual property, class-action defense, telecommunications, antitrust and trade regulation and unfair trade practices at the law firm of Holland & Knight, Tampa.

Noel P. McDonell has been named a shareholder at the law firm of Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen, Tampa. McDonell concentrates in the areas of environmental law, labor and employment, criminal litigation and professional licensure.

Jack A. Weiss has been elected vice chairman of the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization's Citizen's Advisory Committee. Weiss is a shareholder and is a member of the workers' compensation practice group, concentrating in the areas of workers' compensation trial and appellate practice at the law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker, St. Petersburg.

WMOR-Ch. 32, Tampa, announces these appointments: Jordan Land and Jordanna Boodhoo, account executives in the sales department. Land was an enrollment specialist/program representative at Bisk Education, Tampa; and Boodhoo was a sales assistant at WTVT-Ch. 13, Tampa.

Barry Rothstein has been named president of the St. Petersburg Beach Drive and Downtown Business Association. Rothstein is marketing manager at Maddux Business Report, St. Petersburg.

Jackson, vice president of operations; Penelope Welch, vice president of development; Liza Campa-Flanagan, treasurer; and Marilyn Johnson, secretary. Andy Parzygnat has been named manager of condominium sales at Meadowlake Palm Harbor. Parzygnat was a sales manager at Coldwell Banker in Atlanta.

Thunder Marine, St. Petersburg, announces these appointments: Al Kirschbaum, general manager; and Crystal Treadway, business manager. Both are based at Thunder's Tyrone location.
