They are Andrea Apple, St. Petersburg College; Lisa Marie Bridge, Florida State University; Aston Caccia, Tricia Hornsby, Sommer Perry and Cayla Traviesa, University of Florida; Theresa Ann Casadonte, University of Georgia; Arianna Hoeppner, University of Miami; Katherine Lee and Cameron Williams, Duke University; Colleen Mahaffey, University of Central Florida; Kathryn McCoun, University of South Florida; Vanessa Pineda, Northwestern University; and Marina Secord, Flagler College.

All are between 19 and 21 and were chosen from among 35 candidates by a committee from the Suncoasters, the civic organization that produces the festival.

Members of the court will participate in numerous festival activities; the 2006 Sungoddess will be named May 5 at the Synovus Bank Coronation Ball. She will receive a $3,500 scholarship from Bayfront Health System and a $1,500 scholarship from the Downtown St. Petersburg Rotary Club.
