Impressive lineup for Vikings' Fame

Five former athletes, two coaches and a trainer will enter Northeast's Sports Hall of Fame in the fifth annual induction before Tuesday's home basketball game.
There will be a reception in the school's cafeteria and inductees will be introduced between the junior varsity and varsity basketball games (about 7 p.m.).
The inductees are:
BRUCE BUCK: The three-sport athlete from 1966-70 was first-team all-conference in football and basketball. Currently the football coach at Tarpon Springs.
JAMES HARTLEY: Ranked among the nation's best in diving and won a state title in 1974.
MIKE HASKELL: The three-sport athlete from 1964-68 was first-team all-conference, all-city and all-county in basketball.
RON HASKELL: Played basketball and baseball from 1966-70 and was all-conference in basketball for three years.
CRAIG KNIGHT: Played basketball from 1967-71 and was first-team all-conference, all-county and all-city in basketball.
CRAIG PIPPEN: Former baseball and basketball player from 1969-73 and was all-conference, all-city and all-county in both sports.
LARRY RUDISELL: The baseball coach from 1968-80 who guided the Vikings to four conference and two district titles.
DR. B.B. "DOC" SLAUGHTER: Became the team physician in the 1960s and provided free medical services to all athletes and coaches for more than 35 years.
JOAN VERNOTY: Coached boys and girls golf from 1971-86. In '77, she was the first woman named Florida Golf Coach of the Year.
JOE WICKLINE: Former state champion in the discus and state runnerup in wrestling. He also played football from 1974-77. Currently the offensive line coach at Oklahoma State.
