Officials: Man sexually assaults disabled child

By Times Staff Writer
Published February 5, 2006

HUDSON - A 44-year-old convicted sex offender was arrested Friday, accused of sexually assaulting a disabled 11-year-old girl.

Milton Ray Goss of 6201 Indiana Ave. in New Port Richey faces a charge of capital sexual battery.

The girl told a detective that Goss assaulted her, and her physical examination supported the accusation, a sheriff's report says.

Goss spent time in prison after a 1990 charge of lewd and lascivious behavior with a girl. He was being held in the county jail Saturday without bail.

Woman accused of sex acts with teenage girl

HUDSON - A 39-year-old woman was arrested Thursday, accused of developing a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Angela Thorton faces a charge of lewd and lascivious battery. She admitted performing sexual acts with the girl, according to a sheriff's report.

Thorton, of 7027 Gulf Breeze Circle, was in the county jail Saturday. She is being held without bail because she is wanted in Georgia on a charge of solicitation to commit murder/robbery, a booking deputy said.
