Crystal River man killed in crash

CRYSTAL RIVER - A Crystal River man was killed Wednesday evening in a single-vehicle crash north of the city, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers say the man was driving east on W Riverwood Drive at 8:05 p.m. in a 2004 Ford Ranger, when he missed a left curve in the road, went off the shoulder, crossed back over both lanes and rolled over on the north shoulder, according to the report. Authorities did not release the man's identity Thursday because his family had not yet been notified, the report said. The man died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, the FHP said.
