Man, 47, accused of sex with boy

BEVERLY HILLS - Daniel J. Weckesser, a 47-year-old Lady Lake man, was arrested Thursday after authorities accused him of performing oral sex on a young boy in Beverly Hills between 1989 and 1993, according to an arrest report.
Sheriff's investigators say Weckesser performed sex acts on the boy for several years at a Beverly Hills home. Weckesser was acquainted with the victim, and he made incriminating statements during a phone call with the victim that authorities were monitoring, according to the report. The victim is now 26 and lives in Orlando. Weckesser was arrested on a charge of sexual battery on a child age 11 or younger. He was taken to the Citrus County jail and held without bail. Weckesser is already designated a sexual predator for unrelated sex crimes that occurred in Citrus County, said sheriff's spokeswoman Gail Tierney.
