FORT LAUDERDALE - Shorecrest Prep's bid for its first girls soccer state title ended with a 5-0 loss to Delray Beach American Herritage on Friday at Lockhart Stadium in the Class 2Asemifinals.
Elyssa Freund and Louren Lowy scored two goals each, all coming in the first half, to pace the Stallions. American Herritage outshot Shorecrest 30-2.
Shorecrest, which was making its first final four appearance, finished the season 19-4-2. American Herritage was the state runnerup last year.
