HUDSON - A 44-year-old man was arrested Sunday night after crashing his vehicle into a power pole, fence posts and a tree.

The wreck killed his uncle who was a passenger in the Jeep.

David Casamento, of 12311 Oakwood Drive, Hudson, faces charges of DUI manslaughter and manslaughter by culpable negligence, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report.

The crash happened Sunday night, when Casamento was speeding east on Kitten Trail in Hudson, the report said. The Jeep crossed into the westbound lane, then swerved to avoid a car. The Jeep veered off the road and crashed.

John Casamento was killed, and David Casamento was injured.
