B-CC adds to Howard woes

WASHINGTON - Anis Taylor scored 17 and Michael Williams III had 16 points and nine rebounds to lead Bethune-Cookman to a 72-57 victory over Howard on Saturday.
Sam Barber and Antonio Webb added 14 points apiece for the Wildcats, who won their third straight and ninth of 12.
Jason Trotter had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bison, who lost their 14th straight.
FIU 71, TROY 68: Ivan Almonte scored a career-high 30 to lead the host Golden Panthers, and his 14 rebounds gave him a school-record 14 double doubles. Chris Fuller stole Troy's inbounds pass with 3.2 seconds to go.
FAU 81, KENNESAW 62: Rodney Webb shot a career-best 10-of-11 from the field and had 24 points for the host Owls.
SMU 77, UCF 55: Bryan Hopkins scored 23 to lead the host Mustangs. Josh Peppers led the Golden Knights with 14 points off the bench.
FAMU 83, MD.-EASTERN SHORE 72: Brian Greene had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and the visiting Rattlers pulled away in the second.
LYNN 94, SAINT LEO 60: The visiting Knights opened with an 11-0 run and never trailed. Michael Caulfield led the Lions with 23 points.
TAMPA 66, NOVA SE 50: Shane Thorson came off the bench to score a team-high 18 for the host Spartans.
ECKERD 69, FLA. SOUTHERN 60: The Tritons used an 8-0 run in the first half to build a 25-16 lead, and the host Moccasins never recovered.
