TAMPA - A 22-year-old man was shot outside a home Friday night, and police are looking for the gunman.

Orlando Hernandez was inside 1517 W Mohawk Ave. Police say he walked out the front and was shot at about 6:30 p.m. He walked back inside holding his side saying that he was going to die, according to a witness who was in the house and heard a "popping sound."

Hernandez's condition couldn't be determined late Friday. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
