Jobsite and Banyan theaters announce their newseasons

Jobsite Theater, in residence at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's Shimberg Playhouse, has announced its 2006-07 season, opening Oct. 12-29 with The Pillowman, a shocker by Martin McDonagh that was a Broadway hit last season. The rest of the Jobsite lineup:

Dec. 8-16: The Serpent by Jean Claude van Itallie; Jan. 11-Feb. 4, 2007: All the Great Books (Abridged) by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor; Jan. 25-Feb. 11: Three Days of Rain by Richard Greenberg; March 29-April 15: The March of the Kitefliers by Neil Gobioff and Shawn Paonessa; June 7-24: Woman in Mind by Alan Ayckbourne; Aug. 9-26: Hurlyburly by David Rabe. In Sarasota, the Banyan Theater Company has announced its fifth summer season. After one season in the Glenridge Performing Arts Center, in a gated retirement community, the company returns to the Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. The Banyan season:

June 29-July 16, 2006: Mrs. Warren's Profession by George Bernard Shaw; July 20-Aug. 6: The Retreat from Moscow by William Nicholson; Aug. 10-27: Life X 3 by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton.
