Free tax preparation and assistance to those with low to moderate incomes runs through April 17. The event is sponsored by the IRS, AARP and the Prosperity Campaign. Clients must bring Social Security cards for all people listed on their tax return, a photo identification, all pertinent records such as a W-2, 1099 and other income information. If available, bring a copy of last year's income tax return. Free electronic filing is available at all sites.
