WHEN/WHERE: 7:30; St. Pete Times Forum, Tampa.
TV/RADIO: Sun Sports; 620-AM.
SEASON SERIES: Canadiens lead 2-0.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: This has suddenly become a key game in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The seventh-place Lightning holds a four-point lead over the eighth-place Canadiens, who have picked up points in seven consecutive games. They have won five, lost one in overtime and another in a shootout. Cristobal Huet, who has taken over for injured goalie Jose Theodore, has been in goal for all seven games. Montreal is 2-0 since the Olympic break. Both victories came on the road. ... The Lightning has a two-game losing streak for the first time since Jan. 5-7. ... John Grahame is expected to start in goal for the Lightning. He has allowed 18 goals in his past four starts. But during that span, he relieved Sean Burke and shut out the Hurricanes over 35 minutes in a 5-3 victory. He is 2-4 lifetime against the Canadiens, including 0-1 this season.
