WHEN/WHERE: Today-Tuesday; Hartford (Conn.) Civic Center.
TODAY: No. 5 Louisville vs. No. 12 West Virginia, noon; No. 8 Villanova vs. No. 9 Marquette, 2; No. 7 USF vs. No. 10 Notre Dame, 6; No. 6 Pittsburgh vs. No. 11 Cincinnati, 8.
TV/RADIO: 570-AM and 910-AM carry USF games; semifinals, 6 and 8 Monday, ESPNU; final, 7:30 Tuesday, ESPN2.
FAVORITES: Top-seeded Rutgers swept both regular-season meetings with second-seeded UConn, but the Huskies have the home crowd. Everybody else is playing to get to the semifinals.
DARKHORSES: The top five seeds are safe bets for the NCAA cut, but as many as five others are battling for two or three spots. The USF-Notre Dame winner, despite the outcome of Sunday's 6 p.m. quarterfinal against UConn, is in.
