ST. PETERSBURG - The St. Petersburg Police Department released photos on Monday of a man who is believed to have beat and robbed a real estate agent.

A man posing as an interested home buyer saw several homes on Friday afternoon before hitting Realtor Julie Roberts in the head with a gun and threatening to kill her. A man was later photographed as he used Roberts' stolen cards at an ATM machine at a business in Tampa.

Roberts was taken to Edward White Hospital and later released.

The suspect is a white male, about 26 years old, 5 feet 7, 150 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black jacket and black dress trousers. He was driving a new model four-door sedan, silver or champagne in color.

The Police Department urged anyone with information about the suspect to call the department's communications center at 727-893-7780.
