Girl's death in crash stirs safety push

The family of Katie Marchetti, the Durant High School junior who died last weekend from head injuries sustained in a crash on Interstate 75, has set up a foundation in her name that will advocate for teenage driving safety.

The family asks that any donations be made to the Katie Marchetti Memorial Foundation for Girls Inc., 3601 Sugarloaf Lane, Valrico, FL, 33594.
