Have old furniture you want to throw out? The city of Tampa's Solid Waste Enhanced Environment Program (S.W.E.E.P.) picks up large household items as a community service. Goods must be at the curb by 7:30 a.m. For questions, call the Solid Waste Department at 348-1111. SATURDAY: Gandy/Rembrandt Gardens/Sun Bay South (area bounded by Gandy Boulevard, Interbay Boulevard, Dale Mabry Highway, Old Tampa Bay). MARCH 25: Fair Oaks/Manhattan Manor/Guernsey Estates (area bounded by Leona Street, Gandy Boulevard, Dale Mabry Highway, Old Tampa Bay). APRIL 1: Bayshore Beautiful/Virginia Park (area bounded by Bay to Bay Boulevard, Gandy Boulevard, Hillsborough Bay, Dale Mabry Highway). APRIL 8: Old Seminole Heights-West (area bounded by Hillsborough River, Hillsborough Avenue, Interstate 275, Hillsborough River). APRIL 22: South Seminole Heights (area bounded by Hillsborough Avenue, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Interstate 275, Hillsborough River).
