Things we like.

Celebrate Salvador Dali and have some family fun from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at DaliFest 2006, the annual free outdoor festival in Poynter Park, adjacent to the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. Entertainment includes music by Ronnie Dee's Gravy, the Irritable Tribe (without poets), On Que Players and Bogus Pomp, a Frank Zappa tribute band.

Museum admission is reduced for the day, too, to $7 for adults and free for kids. The museum, at 1000 Third St. S, will open at 9:30 a.m. and offers a guided tour for families at 9:45. (727) 823-3767, toll-free 1-800-442-3254 or www. salvadordalimuseum.org.

Still haven't had enough fun? The St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society, or SPIFFS, returns its Folk Fair to Vinoy Park for the first time in eight years. Expect lots of ethnic food, entertainment and wares along the downtown St. Petersburg waterfront. Folk Fair hours are 3 to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 at the gate; kids are free. (727) 552-1896 or www.spiffs.org.
