Learn the law on condos, co-ops

CLEARWATER - A free class on the regulation of condo and co-op associations will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 6 at LaQuinta Inn & Conference Center, 21338 U.S. 19 N.

The class covers federal and state statutes, including the Condominium Act, legislation about fair housing and housing for older persons, and fair debt collection.

The class will be taught by the Suncoast chapter of the Community Associations Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides education, information and training to residents and service providers of condos, homeowners associations and cooperatives.
