LOOKING AHEAD

 FASHION SHOW: The Cambridge School will host its first Ladies Fashion Show, 11:30 a.m. -1:15 p.m. April 3 in the Cheval Lakeview room of the Cheval Golf and Country Club, 4312 Cheval Blvd. Tickets are $30, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Call (813) 288-6909.

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS SUPPORT: The monthly meeting of the Arthritis Foundation's rheumatoid arthritis support group will be 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. April 6 at the Forest Hills Recreation Center, 724 109th Ave. W. The topic will be "Tai Chi for Rheumatoid Arthritis." Call (813) 968-7000.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS SEEKS VOLUNTEERS: Special Olympics Florida is seeking 1,400 volunteers for the summer games, to be held April 28-29 at the University of South Florida. No experience is needed. Call 1-800-322-4376.

MEALS ON WHEELS SEEKS VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are needed to deliver hot nutritional noontime meals to the homebound. Participants volunteer as little as once a month or as much as once a week and drive their own vehicles. A driver orientation class is required. Call (813) 238-8410.

PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES: Mary Jo's Performing Arts Academy, 15906 Mapledale Blvd., is taking registration for its preteen/teen spring classes. Acting, voice and music classes will be offered in a 10-week session starting at the end of March. The following will be taught: acting for the stage; on-camera work for commercial and film; musical theater performance training; and improvisation and monologue preparation. RELAY FOR LIFE: The American Cancer Society is sponsoring Relay For Life in Lutz on Friday and April 1. Teams of 10 to 15 people are being formed to camp out and take turns walking as a symbol of their resolve to beat cancer. Someone will be on the walking path at all times during the 18-hour event. The event will take place between the Lutz Train Depot and Lutz Community Center Park. Highlights will include the survivor's walk and lighting of luminarias in memory of those who have the disease or did not survive the disease. This year's theme is cartoons. LIBRARY PROGRAMS: The Temple Terrace Public Library and the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library System offer several free programs for all ages. Programs include story times for children; computer instruction for children, teens and adults; English-as-a-second-language instruction; genealogy; puppet shows; and book discussions.
