Breakfast program offers hints on aging well

The city of Dunedin's Committee on Aging will present a free educational program, "Optimal Aging,'' on May 10.

The program will feature guest lecturer Dr. Kevin W. O'Neil, who is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine and is a member of the American Geriatrics Society.

The program will be held at the William E. Hale Senior Activity Center, 330 Douglas Ave., Dunedin. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and the program will run from 10 a.m. to noon. Breakfast and light refreshments will be served.

The committee's Senior Hall of Fame winners will also be honored at this event. For reservations, call (727) 298-3299.

Local businesses are being invited to exhibit and to provide door prizes at the event. Interested businesses should call Kelli Edwards at (727) 787-6536 for details.
